Laurel Ensemble

A recent addition to the Bay Area’s chamber music scene, the Laurel Ensemble, specializes in a rich and varied repertoire for mixed strings, winds and keyboard, so instrumentation varies according to the pieces performed. The group’s pride is to explore and present select, but often overlooked, works from the chamber music literature.


Concerts are Tuesday nights and begin at 7.30 p.m. in the second floor Ballroom of Julia Morgan's gorgeous Berkeley City Club, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, 2315 Durant Avenue, Berkeley. Pre-concert dinners are available at Julia’s, the City Club’s restaurant with a French Master Chef. Reservations are required, available at OpenTable.com or by calling (510) 280-1547.
