A recent addition to the Bay Area’s chamber music scene, the Laurel Ensemble, specializes in a rich and varied repertoire for mixed strings, winds and keyboard, so instrumentation varies according to the pieces performed. The group’s pride is to explore and present select, but often overlooked, works from the chamber music literature.

Quintet for Clarinet & String Quartet, Op. 115: Johannes Brahms
Introduction and Allegro for Harp, Flute, Clarinet & String Quartet: Maurice Ravel
A Grecian Festival (2008) Commissioned Piece for Laurel Ensemble for Flute, Clarinet, Violin, Viola & Cello: James Cohn
