A Celebration of Musicians Around the Bay: A BAMC Showcase

Saturday, April 10, 2021, 7:00 PM (Pacific) through midnight on April 18, 2021
The Bay Area Music Consortium (BAMC) presents A Celebration of Musicians Around the Bay, a virtual showcase of the extraordinary talent and diversity of our treasured Bay Area artists who have been heavily impacted by COVID-19. From Quinteto Latino’s brilliant blend of performance and advocacy, to the deeply expressive Indian music of Alam Khan, to the cutting-edge Friction Quartet and the next generation of brilliant classical talent, Stars Aligned Siblings, this concert is an opportunity to gather together from all corners of the Bay Area and celebrate these trailblazing performers and composers whom we miss experiencing live!
Featuring:

Alam Khan, sarod master from the Ali Akbar College of Music in San Rafael, performing a raga in the Indian classical tradition
Friction Quartet, a string quartet known for expanding the string quartet repertoire
Stars Aligned Siblings, an award-winning string quartet of siblings ranging in age from 8 to 14
