Del Sol String Quartet

The internationally-acclaimed Del Sol Quartet champions music by living artists, exploring social change, technology, and artistic innovation. They believe that live music can, and should, happen anywhere.
Program:
The Joy Project shares new music written for strings to inspire joy in the community. These short pieces have been written since summer 2020 in a wide variety of musical styles, each with a unique expression of joy ranging from contemplative to hopeful to utterly exuberant. This concert will also feature works by Reza Vali and Madeleine Ashman.
Concerts are Tuesday nights and begin at 7.30 p.m. in the second floor Ballroom of Julia Morgan's gorgeous Berkeley City Club, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, 2315 Durant Avenue, Berkeley.
